Virtual Wind Tunnel · Early access

Wind tunnel answers, from your phone.

A real wind tunnel session costs $800+ — if you can even get to one. We're building the next best thing: a few photos become a 3D model of you on your bike, physics software blows virtual wind over it, and you learn what actually makes you faster.

Be first in line when early access opens.

Planned launch price: $39 per session — a real tunnel costs $800+. Waitlist members get founding pricing.

SAMPLE REPORT

🌬️ CdA — questions it will answer

This is what your report will look like. The numbers below are examples, not measurements.

Clip-on aero extensions
saves 14 W ± 4 W
Bars 2 cm lower
saves 9 W ± 2 W
Helmet B instead of Helmet A
saves 6 W ± 2 W
Aero bottle vs none
too close to call (±2 W)

at 40 km/h · We report differences between options, not fantasy absolutes. Your own power-meter data (through Aero Lab) anchors the numbers to reality.

How it will work

1 · Photos

A guided 5-minute capture with your phone — a few standing photos, a short clip on the bike, and a few tape measurements.

2 · Human + physics checks

A trained reviewer compares your 3D model against your photos, and the software cross-checks it with physics — before any simulation runs.

3 · Report

Your options, ranked by watts saved — with honest error bars. If two options are too close to call, we say so.

Common questions

Is a virtual wind tunnel accurate?+

Peer-reviewed simulations of cyclists agree with real wind tunnels to within a few percent when comparing positions or equipment. Differences between options are much more reliable than absolute numbers — so that's what we report, with error bars.

What do I need?+

A phone, your bike on a trainer, and a tape measure. No scanner, no lab. If you have a power meter, your Aero Lab field data makes the numbers even more accurate.

How much will it cost?+

Planned launch price is $39 per simulation session — compared to $800+ for a physical wind tunnel. Waitlist members get founding pricing.
