BikeFit Please is built by one cyclist for other cyclists, and this policy is written the way we'd want to read one: plainly. Short version — your video is analyzed on your device, we store your fit data so your history works, we never sell anything, and you can delete everything yourself with one click at the bottom of this page.

What we collect

• Rider profile: the details you enter — name, sex, age, height, weight, inseam, flexibility, discomfort/pain areas, riding volume, FTP, and notes.
• Bikes and fits: bike details and measurements, and every analysis round — measured joint angles, scores, assessments, and the AI fitter's report text.
• Captures: the photos and videos you upload for analysis, plus the annotated overlay images the app generates from them.
• Ride files: files you upload to the Aero Lab (.fit/.csv) and their results.
• Usage analytics: how the app is used (pages, feature events, errors, and session replays) via PostHog, tied to an anonymous device ID — not your name.

How the analysis works (and what never leaves your device)

Pose estimation runs entirely in your browser — your video is not sent to a server to be analyzed. The AI fitter's report is generated from your computed angles and profile, never from your images or videos. After analysis, your captures and results are saved to your BikeFit Please history (stored with Supabase on cloud infrastructure) so they follow your progress; media lives in a private bucket that has no public access.

What we never do

• We never sell your data or share it with advertisers.
• We never make your photos or videos publicly accessible.
• We never send your media to AI providers — only computed numbers.

Where data lives

App data is stored in your own browser (localStorage/IndexedDB) and mirrored to our database and private storage (Supabase) so your history is durable. Analytics are processed by PostHog (US cloud). The site is hosted on Vercel. AI reports are generated via Anthropic using only computed measurements.

Retention & deletion

We keep your data until you delete it. Deleting is self-serve below — it permanently removes your profile, bikes, fits, rounds, captures (including all photos/videos), and Aero Lab files from our servers, and clears this browser's local copy. Questions or manual requests: privacy@bikefitplease.com.
